1 - Diastasis exercises after caesarean birth ✨

Your linea alba is on your #rectusabdominis 
Your rectus abdominis is part of your abdominals 
Your abdominals are a part of your core
Breathing is part of #corecontrol 
Therefore - PLEASE get comfortable breathing into your belly after abdominal surgery 🙏
This can start on day one after #csection if it doesn’t increase pain 👍
#bellybreathing can be cued In many different ways, especially when you might be afraid to move your belly. Help reconnect with your belly in as many ways as possible!

As women, there are a lot of things we're expected As women, there are a lot of things we're expected to be able to talk about openly and freely and we want you to know that you don't need to meet anyone else's expectations—you can decide what's open for discussion, and what's not. 
If you're not comfortable talking about your pelvic health, that's totally fine!
But just because it's not your favourite topic of conversation doesn't mean it shouldn't have a place on your health radar—especially if you feel your pelvic floor is giving you trouble, it might be time to make an appointment.

Toe-curling is a favourite! 🦶 We need the other muscles to be quiet whilst we isolate our pelvic floor. Just ONE quality contraction of just the pelvic floor is better than quantity.  Does this help?

I take a full history when working with a family, this means looking at your pregnancy and birth. You would be surprised how these things can impact your little ones sleep, particularly a birth trauma that may not have seemed a problem but has left an imprint for your little one. 
I take into consideration their personality, temperament and how they are as an individual, we all have individual sleep needs, holistic sleep support is not a cookie-cutter process
I look at nutrition, rule out any underlying causes including allergies or intolerances. 
I look at development, are they hitting a big leap of development, babies are learning so much and processing happens in sleep. A big one like crawling or walking can be a biggy when it comes to sleep

I also look at supporting you, how are you coping with lack of sleep, and support you too. I put attachment first and will not make you do anything that will affect that.
